For anyone who remembers the 4:30 Movie on Channel 7 (ABC) in New York City in the late 70s, this was arguably "THE MOST BEAUTIFUL INTRO ANYONE HAS EVER SEEN!"

Because I lived in the sticks (and still do!) and it was the only channel we got back then, in the days when satellite dishes were too expensive and cable just wasn't available here. This was when it was still a kickass Toronto station and not part of a giant media conglomerate like it is today.

Living in north-central West Virginia, one of my local stations is WDTV. The first video is a quick ID from 1988. The next video is a sports promo from 1986.

This is a group of promos done by a company called Klein& in 1980. The stations featured are WJXT in Jacksonville, FL; WDTN in Dayton, OH; and WTRF in Wheeling, WV. I went to college in the Wheeling area, so WTRF was my station while I was there. I particularly like the jingle they used with WTRF.

i've made a local station promo tag....

i am from iowa (four letters like hell, coincidence? hmmmm....yes now i live in ohio....hmmm....)....anyway, i lived right on the mississippi, well it was 6 blocks away, but we got super station wgn, so i grew up watching it.....loved watching the cubs games with harry!!
